Public open lecture: ‘Wildfires in a global context’ (PDF, 268KB). 5.10pm, Tuesday 24th June 2008. Cordingley Lecture Theatre, Humanities Bridgeford Street Building.
A series of four FIRES seminars and workshops on the effects of moorland and heathland wildfires and managed fires on ecosystem services will be held during 2008-2009. The first seminar took place in Edinburgh 31 March - 1 April 2008. The second will be held in Manchester on 24 June 2008. Seminars three and four will take place in Manchester and in the Peak District, respectively, during 2009.
